Modular Sample Chambers

 

Applied Photonics Ltd (APL) has developed a range of modular sample chambers for use with their LIBS instruments. The design is such that the sample chambers are user interchangeable, thereby increasing the versatility of the LIBS instrument. The range includes sample chambers of various sizes, with options for manual control (SC-1, SC-2, SC-2M, SC-2L, SC-2XL) or computer control (XYZ-750) of the sample table. Most of the sample chambers are designed for use with solid samples but APL has developed a unique design sample chamber (SC-LQ2) which is dedicated to LIBS analysis of liquids.

APL’s modular sample chambers are designed to meet the requirements for a Class 1 laser product and so when used correctly, there is no need for the operator to wear laser safety eyewear. All aspects relating to the safe use of our LIBS products are included in the comprehensive User’s Manuals we provide with our LIBS equipment.
